Dear LACTAI Chapter Members,

Today let us Remember and Honor the many American Men and Women who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.   

Let us Reflect on WHO we are as Americans for the world to Never Forget what happened. Our lives were forever changed. But we Still Endure!

Today let us Honor one of our fellow Tuskegee Airmen members who gave the ultimate price for our democracy!










LeRoy Wilton Homer Jr.
(August 27, 1965 – September 11, 2001)

Leroy Wilton Homer was the First Officer of United Airlines Flight 93, which was hijacked by Al Qaeda terrorists and part of the September 11 attacks in 2001, and crashed into a field near Shanksville, Pennsylvania, killing all 37 passengers and seven crew members, including Homer.  He along with other passengers and crew fought the terrorists/high hackers after realizing the attacks in New York and at the Pentagon. The terrorist had Flight 93 heading to Washington DC., destination possibly The White House or The Capital Buildings our seats of Democracy.

Let us also take time today and Reflect on this day, of the many sacrifices made by others so that we may live and reach the American Dream.  May God continue to Bless you in all you do, protect you and your families, and forever Bless our Nation.
